At the national library now. ><
TRYING to do my lit anothology. I'm really really behind. I'm only doing my first poem. Shakespeare's sonnet. And I'm not even sure which sonnet I'm doing. But lucky for me, and all the people opposite me with their laptops, the lirary has free internet connection.
Well, ain't that mighty nice of our government. <3
And I have the shakespeare sonnetty book onmy lap and I have no idea what on earth its all about. But after reading all the random and irrelevant stuff on the web I realised that from sonnet 1 to sonnet 126, he writes about a 'fair youth' and from sonnet 127 onwards till the last one, sonnet 154, he writes about a 'dark lady'. So mysterious ar? Oohlala.
And from sonnet 1 to 17, he keeps telling the 'fair youth' to reproduce. ><

OHOH! The guy sitting opposite me has a laptop too and just now, he just stood up, close the cover a bit, and left his everything behind and just went to look at more books. Like, didn't his mama teach him RESPONSIBILTY? I was hoping someone would just go over and take it all away.
It's kinda funny, that the library is so quiet. That like whenever some one makes a little bit of noise, everyone stares at you. So far, it has been, yours truly and the laptop's lousy microsoft sound [the sound that comes on when you just swtich the com on and when you just enter windows desktop]:) , the lady who dropped or knocked her book on the table, the other lady who spilled some coins on the table and this other lady who knocked the chair. HEY! I just realised that its all female.
Oh wells.
hey hey! just after I typed that line, the guy sitting next to me's phone rang. He was like, "hello". Phones aren't allowed in the library k!
I think I should seriously go back to doing work.
My back's aching.

Gonna get braces this Thursday. Heh. I know its kinda late. But I've got company. Becky[from school] is getting hers this wednesday and Keziah [from church] is getting hers round this time soon.
Got my seperators yesterday. They're blue.
Feeling is like got food stuck inbetween my teeth. Yesterday wasn't so bad. It just hurts today. Went out for lunch after dance prac with Sandy, Becky and Alethea. All I had was a large mashed potato and a regular coke.
My mouth is so sore now. Mommy's deep frying the eggplant yong tau foo thing with the fishcake wedged in between. I really like that, but I can't chew leh. I can't even chew my lips now.

Oh. I havn't decided on a colour for my braces. Weixian [yes, we've got the same chinese name] said I should get green and yellow. For Brazil! Football fashion. I dont even have cable to watch the matches. But then, it's kinda shocking, and what if Brazil doesn't win. Oh no.

Went out with Ern, Heng and Min today. We went to watch Over The Hedge at Suntec's Eng Wah. Previous blog post was wrong. Only 2 other people have not watched it along with me. Min watched already. She thought we were watching Cars today.
Movie was funny though. But I wasn't paying much attention. There was like too much food passing around. There was sushi and some sausage roll from Carrefour and popcorn. There were like many many sushi flavours. [ Does sushi have flavour?] OOO. And there were Nestle Milkybars too!
So after the movie we went to walk walk and min tried gettin gone of those mechanical claw machines to grab a stuffed toy for heng. But it didn't work out. I guess the grip was kind of loose. She gave up, then we went to Toys 'R' Us.
I wonder why Toys 'R' Us sells baby pampers. hmm.
We went downstairs and bought ear rings. Buy 4 get 1 free. So, we gave the free one to Heng. Min's ear are not pierced. See the perks for piercing your ears?!
We walked to the mrt station and went home. At bedok, at the interchange, just like 1 meter from the bus 66 and 228 stop, my slippers gave way. It's the kind that are like beach thongs where the grip comes from in between your biggest and second toe. It's beaded so like the thread that threads the bead together broke, so the whole thing just died on me. Ern was with me, but the bus came, so she left first while I called my daddy for help.
He drove to the car park opposite the interchange. I thought he would just stop by the road to let me in. But he came to find me at the interchange, gave me his slippers to wear, threw away my spoiled slippers and walked barefooted on the road and to the car. The hot hot road okay!! It was like mid- afternoon the cement walkways and the roads were like burning hot. It was so hot it was like HAWT. Not to mention dirty. I <3 daddy.
Cos I was supposed to go for ballet immediately after that, he drove me to Bata to buy a pair of shoes. He parked behind the shop, so he needed walk with me to the front. Then cos next to it was this coffee shop and there was like osme wierd soapy water on the ground, by daddy braved the filth and the grossness and brought me to the store where I bought a pair slippers for 5 bucks. It has pretty blue butterflies on it. ><
Sacrifices like this shows he cares.

I feel pathetic.
Everyone watched Over The Hedge already. Except I. Perhaps 3 other people and I. Not that bad, I guess. Still, this is the first movie I'm watching since like december last year?
I feel pathetic.
I feel the need to have fun. I feel the need to have a social life other than msn.
EEK.
I'm going to bug my dad to take me to the zoo.

I cannot resist the temptation anymore. I have succumbed to it. I can no longer say no DUMPLINGS! And when I say dumplings I do not mean the one wrapped in lotus leaves. No, not the ba zhang, I mean the one with mean in flour, the shui jiao, otherwise known as gyoza.
I dunno why, but I had it twice today and I feel like having it for the third time today.
It's soft and plump when you pick it up with a pair of chopsticks and when you just bite into it, you can feel the juice bursting out of the skin and the taste. Oh! The Taste! It's simply heavenly. The smell and the taste just fills your mouth at the first bite, the juicy juicy meat, the springy skin, with a dab of black vinegar. OOOOO. Just one word: SHUANG!
To have a clearer picture, here is how it looks like.
No, I did not place my food on the floor. It just so happens that my table is made of glass, therefore you can see the floor.
This is not just any dumpling. It can only be found near my mom's office in a Taiwanese restaurant. [ Where is it? I dunno.] It is frozen so you'll have to boil it youself. But it's so delicious and so easy to cook. And since only my family and I know the secret to this delicious dumpling delicacy, the rest of you will just have to watch in envy. Hah!
They say the pen is mightier than the sword. But in my opinion, the Dumpling is mightier than the sword. You see, it has the power to keep me away from doing my Geography Performance Task by making me have sweet dreams about it.
